Listen while you read!
#VEGANLOVE Artist: Lizzo
Lizzo’s ongoing encouragement for us to love ourselves in all of our stages is something we cannot get enough of. She’s bold, confident, vulnerable, and kind – traits we all wish to embody. In this video, Lizzo shares details about her dietary choices while loving herself every step of the way. This compassionate framework around eating plant-based is one that we believe can truly create positive and long-lasting change. Just like Lizzo, we at Vejii know it’s difficult to shift to a fully vegan diet, and that we may fall in and out of being purely plant-based. But regardless, all people are welcome, no matter where they are on the journey. We are all doing our best, and creating a safe environment for people to grow is something we, and Lizzo, stand behind.
“I am both of these women, and I cannot condemn one woman or the other.” – Lizzo

#VEGANLOVE Artist: Paul McCartney
Paul McCartney started the MeatFreeMonday movement. He’s an avid vegetarian and has been for over 40 years. To encourage people to try vegan options, Paul has suggested people start with one day a week. He understands that making big change takes time, and asking someone to completely change their diet overnight is often unrealistic. Rather, he takes the achievable goal-oriented approach. Make it doable, and enjoyable, and over time people will implement more and more of it into their lives. We at Vejii love this, and believe it’s a great way to start the plant-based journey. Did you know his wife Linda McCartney also has a vegan food line?
#VEGANLOVE Artist: Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande is not only a very talented musician but is an avid supporter of plant-based eating as well. Her motivation stems from compassion towards animals and improving overall personal health and wellness.
“I love animals more than I love most people, not kidding,” she told The Mirror. “But I am a firm believer in eating a full plant-based, whole-food diet that can expand your life length and make you an all-round happier person. It is tricky dining out, but I just stick to what I know–veggies, fruit, and salad–then, when I get home, I’ll have something else.”

#VEGANLOVE Artist: Erykah Badu
Erykah Badu is one of the most talented artists of all time. She’s also a best selling author, entrepreneur, and vocal supporter of wellness through food and lifestyle choices. In 2003, she made an appearance in the documentary Holistic Wellness for the Hip-Hop Generation, she spoke candidly on how to stay healthy and the dangers of low-quality food.
“I’ve been a vegetarian since my senior year of high school, that was 1989,” the singer, 45, told People, adding that she started eating like a vegan in 1997. “It’s just what’s best for my body. If I was a Lamborghini, I would want to put the best gas in it.” Badu also says her diet gives her energy, adding, “I eat raw mostly, kale salad, avocados, fruits, vegetables, and alkaline water.” – Self.com
#VEGANLOVE Artist: Lenny Kravitz
Lenny Kravitz might be passed his 50th year, but has shared that his secret to staying healthy is through his vegan diet!
During a Zoom interview with Men’s Health, the Lenny offered a sneak peek into his fridge.
“What we have is green and more green. We’ve got cucumbers, mangoes, broccoli, kale, salad greens,” he explained. “A great blessing of living here in the Bahamas is that I’m able to grow my own food.”
He went on to explain,
“As you can see, I’m vegan and primarily raw. I have done extensive raw diets where I eat raw for a year,” he continued. “When I’m here, I like to eat as much food as possible especially in the summertime when you have all of these beautiful fruits growing.”
